Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. The service

DeckPost (deckpost.io and app.deckpost.io, operated by DeckPost) is a growth assistant for X: it drafts posts in your voice, schedules and publishes posts you approve through X's official API, provides analytics and weekly coaching, and offers an optional browser extension.

DeckPost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. Your use of X remains governed by X's own terms.

2. Your account

You sign in with a magic email link and connect one or more X accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use DeckPost.

3. Acceptable use

You keep final control of everything published: DeckPost only publishes content you approved, on your schedule. You may not use DeckPost to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive (including undisclosed paid promotion), or that violates X's rules.

DeckPost intentionally provides no automation that acts on other people's posts (no auto-likes, auto-replies, auto-follows). Attempting to repurpose the service for such automation is a violation of these terms.

4. Plans, billing and quotas

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Power) bill monthly or annually through Stripe. Quotas for each plan are published on the pricing page and enforced in-product; unused quota does not roll over. Link posts carry a separate quota because X charges a per-URL fee, which we pass through.

You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by our 7-day refund policy.

5. Your content and our AI

You own your posts, drafts and voice fingerprint. You grant DeckPost the limited license needed to operate the service (storing drafts, scoring them against your fingerprint, publishing what you approve).

AI features process your posts to build a private, per-account voice fingerprint. We do not use your content to train shared or third-party models without your explicit opt-in.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features; if we materially reduce what you paid for, you're entitled to a pro-rated refund of the remainder.

X's API, pricing and policies change; where a change makes a feature impossible or materially more expensive, we may adjust the feature or its quota with notice on the changelog.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeckPost's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions X takes against your account that don't result from our breach of these terms.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app, which deletes your data per the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of any unused prepaid period unless the violation was willful.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll announce material changes on the changelog and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
